Eduardo Hermosilla
Eduardo Hermosilla, a native of Chile, graduated from the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile where he also worked for three years as a teaching assistant at the School of Business Administration. He received a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Administration and Management from Union College in New York.
During his graduate school years in the USA he worked as a Spanish-language instructor in the Peace Corps Training programs of the University of Notre Dame, preparing volunteers for duty in Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela. His engineering career brought him to New York where he had a very successful technical and managerial career with IBM that included a 3-year assignment at the IBM plant in Sindelfingen, Germany.
His long and varied work experience also provided Eduardo with a very extensive language knowledge in Spanish, English and German in areas of interest to Accurapid's customers. His engineering and business management experience guarantee that the correct terminology will be used in such diverse fields as mechanical, electrical, chemical and software engineering, physics, semiconductor technology, instrumentation, computer sciences, accounting, finance, and many other fields of general knowledge.
Eduardo's actual language work experience ranges from editing and translating chemical safety data sheets, tool descriptions, and operating manuals to retirement plans, financial reports, and financial planning handbooks.
Eduardo's extensive business and technical career also provided him with a firm understanding of, and commitment to satisfying, customers' needs in areas such as Quality Assurance and timely delivery of products.
